Global Cities Index

Various measures combine to inform the Schroders Global Cities Index, a proprietary index that ranks cities in order of their attractiveness from a real estate investment perspective.

What is a Global City?

The Schroders Global Cities Index ranks the fastest growing urban economies around the world. The top ranked cities share common factors. These include an increasing working population and high levels of disposable income. They also include top universities and excellent transport infrastructure. These select cities are carefully planned, economically diverse and provide leisure and cultural activities making them attractive to millions of people.
