How to invest
We understand that as a financial adviser there are many aspects to helping your clients while guiding them through the investment selection process may be just a small part of your overall conversation, your advice goes a long way to helping your clients find solutions to meeting their financial goals and ultimately, meeting their overall future needs. Schroders commitment to financial advisers and their clients is paramount.
Schroders funds are available for direct investment or indirect investment via a financial adviser (or other intermediary). For more information please contact the Schroders Retail Team.
Direct investment with Schroders
When selecting funds in which to invest directly please consider the minimum investment amount can vary from fund to fund. Funds classed as Wholesale have a minimum investment amount of $20,000 while Professional Class funds have a minimum investment amount of $500,000. Others are outlined in their PDS or offer document.
To invest directly it is necessary you and your clients read the relevant fund Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and the accompanying Additional Information booklet before completing the Application Form. The Financial Services Guide (FSG) also needs to be read. Next, send your completed application to us, along with the required supporting identification documentation and your initial investment amount. For existing clients wanting to make an additional investment, withdrawal or switch funds, these forms can be downloaded from the instruction forms page.

mFund Settlement Service
Schroders currently offers ten funds on the mFund Settlement Service across a range of asset classes. The mFund Settlement Service allows you to buy, hold and sell units in Schroders unlisted managed funds through a process similar to buying and selling shares.
To invest in a Schroder Fund via the mFund Settlement Service it is necessary to firstly read the relevant fund Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and the accompanying Additional Information book and other relevant fund information.
Next you need to contact a participating broker. You can use a full service or online broker. Click here to see the list of available brokers on the mFund website.
The broker will require instructions for a buy or sell order and payment for new units in the chosen Schroder mFund.
Following completion of the transaction an mFund confirmation and CHESS statement will be sent to you.
